HESA MINI SUMMER CAMP | DAY 1😎☀️📸 Another fantastic first morning with our Mini athletes! Brilliant energy, enthusiasm and effort from every mini as we worked on speed, movement, coordination, reactions and plenty of fun challenges throughout the session! The 400m/600m championship events produced some awesome performances & brought out serious determination and competitive spirit! A brilliant start to camp with huge smiles, lots of learning and outstanding effort! We can't wait to do it all again tomorrow!💪🏃‍♀️🏃

**JUNIOR & SENIOR ATHLETES OF THE WEEK** What a week..... Blue skies, sunshine and a double session of outstanding work from our Junior & Senior athletes! This week we focused on speed, change of direction, reactions, core, conditioning and fun Friday...football. What impressed the coaches most wasn't just the effort, it was the huge improvements in movement quality, technique and efficiency. The athletes are beginning to understand that moving better means performing better, and the progress we're seeing every week is fantastic🙌 A massive well done to this week's Athletes of the Week: • Freya • Iyla • Roddy • Sophie • Innes A special mention also goes to our brilliant little guest, Swift who fitted in like he'd been a junior for years! No fear!🫣 The effort, attitude and willingness to learn shown by every athlete was outstanding!. Keep trusting the process, keep chasing the small improvements, and the big results will follow💯 We're incredibly proud of every single one of you! Darren isn't just a coach... he's a lifelong athlete & competitor who has spent more than 30 years competing at an elite level across endurance, strength, and hybrid sport. 🏆 2026 HYROX World Championship Competitor 🥇 15th in the World – Men's Pro Doubles (Stockholm) 🥇 Multiple Scottish & British Martial Arts Champion 🥇 Two-time World Champion Gold Medallist (Malaysia) 🚵 Endurance Mountain Bike Champion 🏊‍♂️ Five-time Extreme Triathlon Finisher, including Celtman and the legendary Norseman Xtreme Triathlon 🏃 Competitor across triathlon, duathlon, and international HYROX events throughout Europe and the USA. What makes Darren exceptional isn't just his achievements, it's his mindset. For over three decades, he has lived by discipline, consistency, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of improvement. He understands exactly what it takes to perform under pressure, overcome setbacks, and continually push beyond your limits. Now, he's bringing that experience to HESA.
